Sustainability Efforts

By 2025 100% of Bondi Sands packaging will be fully recyclable and will contain recycled materials. Product Recyclability has been a huge focus for Bondi Sands, particularly with their latest launch, Pure. Highlighted as a gold standard in product packaging, Pure is 100% recyclable and made from recycled materials, paving the way for remaining products to follow.

Bondi Sands has partnered with Take 3 for the Sea. Take 3 for the Sea promote simple actions: take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere and you have made a difference.

Bondi Sands Suncare is formulated Reef Friendly to protect oceans and waterways. Their entire Suncare range is free of the two ingredients that are harmful towards reefs, Oxybenzone and Octinoxate. Additionally, Bondi Sands are PETA approved and neither them nor their suppliers conduct, commission, or pay for any testing on animals for ingredients, formulations or finished products. The entire Bondi Sands product range is vegan friendly, with the exception of their Suncare products, which contain naturally derived beeswax.

Bondi Sands is involved with a sustainable packaging project started by Impact International. They have purchased a portion of trees in a sustainable plantation to contribute to the offset of their carbon emissions.
