About
Julie founded Flora & Fauna, having spent 20+ years working in retail. Julie wanted to create a better business, a business that was conscious of its impact on the world and one that contributes positively to society and drives change for the better.
For too long we haven't known enough about how products are produced, what they're made of and who makes them. Retailers have not focused on their own supply chains and the waste produced. Julie set out to change that creating a retailer focused on driving change through Flora & Fauna and also in the industry as a whole.
Sourcing the best ethical, eco, organic and vegan products. There is a huge range with over 9,000 products, 300+ brands, 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
Sustainability Efforts
They focus on low-impact products and send their parcels out with plastic-free minimal packaging. They have been doing this for 5 years and have saved over 30 tonnes of unnecessary packaging by doing so.
They also offset the carbon from all of their orders, operations, and even their team's cars!
They have a recycling program where customers can return beauty packaging, hosiery, blister packs and more to them to be recycled. By doing this, they have saved several tonnes of packaging from going to landfill.
Their warehouse is paper-free so everything is managed digitally. That means you don't receive any unnecessary paper.
They work with Greenfleet who regenerate forests in Australia, Sea Shepherd and One Tree Planted, where they have planted over 1000 trees.
Their Green + Kind brand is part of 1% for the Planet where 1% of sales are donated to environmental causes.
They are proud to be B Corp™ Certified and leading the way as a business and retailer.
Flora & Fauna became a Certified B Corporation in 2017 being one of the first retailers in Australia to earn this accreditation. As a purpose-led business becoming a B Corp was the obvious step for them early on in the Flora & Fauna story.
