About
Sheridan has been creating premium quality home and lifestyle products for 50 years, loved as an icon of distinctly Australian style. Devoted to quality, craftsmanship and artistry, every piece has been expertly crafted to the highest quality standards by their in house team of artists, master weavers and designers in the Sheridan Sydney Design Studio. Founder, Italian entrepreneur and textile aficionado Claudio Alcorso, had a vision to “introduce creative thought and beauty into the everyday things of life,” a prospect he delivered by launching a revolutionary, design-led textile printing business in Australia.

Sheridan will use 100% sustainable cotton across all products by 2025 – they define sustainable cotton as U.S and Australian grown, organic, recycled or sourced from the Better Cotton Initiative and other reputable sustainable cotton programs. By 2025 every new Sheridan product will be designed to consider end-of-life. Sheridan also aim to eliminate single-use plastics in their product packaging by 2025 and ensure that 100% of packaging is reusable or recyclable. By 2022, all Sheridan packaging will include the Australasian Recycling Label.
Sheridan’s Deluxe Australian wool range is crafted in Australia from 100% Australian wool – an 100% natural fiber that is renewable. Recycled cotton, wool and polyester fibers are used in Sheridan’s bed linen, blanket, homewares and baby collection.
Sheridan have partnered with Australia’s oldest working textile mill, Waverley Mills, to produce a luxury blanket collection, where over 80% of the raw material is repurposed Sheridan cotton towels and recycled Australian wool. The recycled wool fibre is made up of predominantly merino wool shearing waste, unused wool fibre, and factory off-cuts.
