About
Founded in 2004 in Sydney’s Bondi Beach by designer and artist Camilla Franks, CAMILLA has captured the imagination of the world with its vibrant and iconic aesthetic across luxurious resort and occasion wear. Prints are hand-drawn and painted by in-house artists, pieces cut and sewn by hand, and every crystal or embellishment is applied with precision.
Sustainability Efforts
For every online order, Camilla donates $1 to one of three charities: The Hunger Project, Women’s Community Shelters, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Together, these three charities are helping to stop child marriage through education, protecting victims of domestic violence through shelter and preventing women dying of breast cancer through research.
The Hunger Project:
The Hunger Project trains women to unleash their leadership and capacity to take action in their homes, villages and communities, to stop child marriage, violence against women and girls, discrimination against girl children - and shift hearts and minds on the importance of gender equality.
Women’s Community Shelters:
Women’s Community Shelters is dedicated to providing women and children with a safe place to stay and an opportunity to rebuild their lives. Across Australia, around 56,000 women are homeless each night, many with young children. Now, there are many more. Women unable to access shelters are left vulnerable, disconnected from community and support networks.
National Breast Cancer Foundation:
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research to create a better tomorrow for all those impacted.
